Etwa 38.000 Türken, die in Österreich leben, haben beim gestrigen Referendum für den autoritären Verfassungsentwurf in ihrer Heimat gestimmt. Das sind mehr als 70 Prozent derer, die zur Wahl gegangen sind. Für die heimischen Experten für eh alles ein klarer Beweis, „wie die Türken so sind“. Weder das Wahlverhalten noch die gehässigen Kommentare kommen aus dem luftleeren Raum. Beides hat gemeinsame Wurzeln.
